Our project-guided design process allows us to leverage our portfolio into custom site-specific solutions. Better outcomes that result from experience-driven innovation and collaborative designs.
BoardSafe’s capabilities extend far beyond shipping prefab docks. Our consultation process with our clients allows us to resolve engineering and environment challenges with a project-guided design approach so we can ensure the best final configurations and solutions for each project.
We collaborate with stakeholders early to engineer site-specific solutions for evey project
Our planning and layout support is typically integrated into the early stages of a BoardSafe project. In certain cases, such as feasibility studies or grant-support efforts, standalone advisory services may be provided.
In certain cases, grants and purchasing programs can serve as a conduit through which registered and eligible local public procurement units and state-affiliated entities are able to leverage contracts to simplify the purchasing process and reduce administrative burden for publicly funded waterfront projects.
Advisory Services
We provide engineering drawings, pre-assembled components, and direct installation support so your contractor or parks crew has everything needed to get the system in the water correctly the first time.
Before any design work begins, we ask clients to complete a site evaluation that captures shoreline conditions, water depth and fluctuation, existing infrastructure, and access goals — giving our team the information needed to recommend the right system for your site.
BoardSafe systems are designed to require virtually no maintenance. We provide a simple annual inspection checklist your parks crew can complete without special tools or a contractor.
Browse our curated library of planning, installation, and usage guides — from how to calculate ADA gangway length to step-by-step adaptive launch instructions and end-of-season removal guidance.
Every BoardSafe system is designed, engineered, and fabricated in-house at our Fleetwood, Pennsylvania facility using marine-grade aluminum, plastic-encapsulated foam flotation, stainless steel hardware, and composite decking built for a 20-30 year service life.
