Our rowing docks showcase key performance engineering capabilities in each uniquely complex project

Many of the best collegiate and competitive rowing clubs trust us to design and manufacture their rowing centers.

Floating aluminum rowing docks are made in America and designed for commercial and residential applications, focusing specifically on rowers & paddlers. They come in modular designs in standard sizes, offering a variety of layout options.

Each order receives a design analysis based on the use and environment of the installation, including the best anchoring methods for the floating dock system.

Designing your rowing dock

Every BoardSafe dock is built on the same modular aluminum extrusion system that runs across our entire product line. That means gangways, finger docks, and accessories all share the same frame geometry, connection hardware, and decking system — so components integrate cleanly, layouts can be reconfigured as a program grows, and replacements are straightforward without retooling the whole system.

All of our waterfront projects can be configured with adaptive buildouts, products and accessories providing ADA accessibility for all bodies and abilities.

Adaptive add-ons:- Clip-A-Launch (bolt-on kayak launch for any existing dock)- Full adaptive boarding kit (can be added to existing dock frame)- ADA-compliant gangway upgrade (compliant slope, dual handrail, toe kick)- Intermediate wheelchair-height handrail- No-step threshold strips at all dock connections

Texas Rowing Center The Texas Rowing Center in Austin is a rowing, kayaking, and SUP concession located in downtown. We designed and manufactured a world-class floating rowing dock and boat storage facility on Lady Bird Lake. The project features a massive 15,000 sq/ft aluminum rowing dock engineered for high-perfo‚mance use, along with two custom 3,000 sq/ft aluminum buildings to provide secure, on-water storage for racing sculls and other rowing and paddling equipment. We designed and installed the full rowing dock system to match the competitive demands of Temple's program, from dock stability under heavy crew loads to gangway engineering for river-level fluctuations. We provided new low-profile rowing docks and a gangway to match the facility's legacy and the demands of three varsity intercollegiate rowing programs. The Schuylkill River's freeze-thaw cycles and strong currents require docks built to take the punishment. Our plastic-encapsulated foam flotation and marine-grade aluminum frame ensure the system performs season after season. We custom-designed, manufactured, and installed the rowing docks, gangway, and a cantilevered aluminum observation deck for the 6-bay building. The observation deck extends 24 feet by 122 feet over the riverbank on a PE-stamped concrete foundation engineered by our sister company, Innovative Marine Solutions.
