Project Description: Lois and George Hines, both leaders in the Philadelphia Rowing Community for over 7 decades, own the Hines Rowing Center. Their passions for rowing lead them to 2 open the Hines Rowing Center to provide a location for novice to Olympic rowers to learn and compete. Villanova University is the latest addition to the many community, high school, and college programs using the facility.
BoardSafe Docks has completed many projects over the past few years at the facilities. Because of the destructive nature of the Schuylkill River during flooding conditions, four of the gangway systems had to be either repaired or new gangways had to be installed.
