At last week’s Great Miami Riverway Summit in Miamisburg, Ohio, Kelly Beals, a key member of BoardSafe’s Business Development Team, had the pleasure of connecting with Jeff Raible, Director of the Sidney Visitors Bureau. Jeff shared valuable insights about growing tourism in the Sidney, Ohio, area, as well as increased foot traffic at Lake Loramie State Park, much of which is thanks to the park’s improved accessible amenities.

Located just 16 miles from Sidney, Lake Loramie State Park is a state-operated facility that features a beautiful 1,600-acre lake with 30 miles of shoreline. It’s an ideal destination for families looking to combine camping and water recreation. Visitors can enjoy multiple water-related activities that include boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, fishing—or simply cruising on the lake.
