Lake Loramie State Park, OH, Installs Accessible Kayak Boat Launch

In September 2018, Lake Loramie installed an adaptive kayak launch at its 913-acre lake. The adaptive kayak launch is located between the campgrounds and the beach area, accessible to adaptive restroom facilities and paved parking, walkways — near the camp store and Lake Loramie Nature Center and Museum.

The adaptive kayak launch was manufactured and installed by BoardSafe. It marks their first project in Ohio, but with the reception that it received, there should be many more adaptive kayak launches coming to Ohio. The adaptive kayak launch was even fit with a gangway to board a pontoon boat.
